Schitt's Creek is a Canadian television sitcom created by father-son duo Eugene and Dan Levy that aired from 2015 to 2020 on CBC Television in Canada and later gained international popularity on Netflix.

The series follows the formerly wealthy Rose family who lose their fortune and are forced to relocate to Schitt's Creek, a small town they once purchased as a joke. The family consists of video store magnate Johnny Rose (Eugene Levy), his former soap opera actress wife Moira (Catherine O'Hara), and their adult children David (Dan Levy) and Alexis (Annie Murphy).

As they adjust to their new lives in the rural town, the family's fish-out-of-water experiences lead to personal growth and deeper connections with each other and the quirky residents of Schitt's Creek.
