If you still have these, the ornament will light up when connected to one of the tree light sockets, but if not it still makes an awesome static Christmas tree ornament. It just won't light up.

How to Make Your Romulan Warbird Light Up:
• This ornament is designed to work with traditional incandescent Christmas light strings that were common in the 1990s
• The ornament has a socket that fits over a standard 3.5V or 6V Christmas light bulb on pre-LED light strings
• To use: remove one bulb from your compatible light string, insert the ornament's socket over that empty socket
• The ornament draws power from the light string to illuminate its green engines
• Please note: this ornament is NOT compatible with modern LED light strings or battery operation
• Without compatible lights, this ornament still functions as a beautiful static display piece
