NEW - Hasbro Operation: The Grinch Edition Board Game

• Dr. Seuss Operation Game: The Grinch overdid it at the Who's Feast – Who-ville's best doctors are on the case! Kids can imagine helping the Grinch feel better to win.

• Operate On The Grinch: In this fun kids' board game for 1+ players, the Grinch replaces Cavity Sam as the patient! "Operate" carefully or get the BZZZT! (Requires 3 x 1.5V AA Alkaline Batteries. Not Included.)

• 12 Grinch-Related Ailments: Players draw cards with merry maladies to remove, such as a can of Who-Hash, Cindy-Lou Who's Bow, and other objects from How the Grinch Stole Christmas!

Operation was invented by John Spinello while he was an industrial design student at the University of Illinois in the early 1960s. He sold the idea to the Marvin Glass and Associates toy design studio, and the game was released by Milton Bradley in 1965 with its famous patient, Cavity Sam, and the buzzer and light-up nose that punish a shaky hand.

Operation became one of the best-known family skill games of all time and has stayed in production for decades, moving to Hasbro after it acquired Milton Bradley in 1984. Over the years it has been reimagined in many themed editions – and this one puts Dr. Seuss's Grinch, first seen in the 1957 book How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, on the operating table.
