Death Star Section: Players must first escape the trash compactor, then navigate through the Death Star's corridors while avoiding stormtroopers and other Imperial threats.

Space Battle Section: After escaping the Death Star, players must pilot through space, avoiding or battling TIE Fighters to reach the Rebel Base.

Shortcuts: Players may choose to take shorter routes that involve risky encounters with the Force, represented by special spaces on the board.
