Night Stalker first appeared in the Masters of the Universe toy line in 1985 as the evil counterpart to Stridor, the heroic armored war horse.

As a mechanical steed serving the forces of Skeletor, Night Stalker was designed with a menacing purple and black color scheme and featured a battery-powered walking action in its original release.

While Night Stalker didn't make many appearances in the original Filmation cartoon series, it became a fan-favorite vehicle among collectors for its unique design and evil aesthetic.
