Setup: Each player selects a golden token and is sorted into a Hogwarts house by choosing a House Card.

Currency: In this edition, house points replace Monopoly money. Players start with a set amount of house points.

Movement: Players roll two dice and move their tokens around the board, exploring Hogwarts locations and collecting house points from other players when they land on owned locations.

Properties: Hogwarts locations are properties. When a player lands on an unexplored location, they may explore it by paying the listed house points. If they land on a location already explored by another player, they must pay house points to that player.

House Crests: Collect a complete color set of locations to add house crests, which increase the house points collected when other players land on your locations.

Owl Post Cards: Replace Chance and Community Chest cards. When landing on an Owl Post space, draw a card for game-changing news. Watch out for Howlers!

Winning: The game ends when all locations have been explored, and the player with the most house points wins!
