The Legend of Zelda is one of Nintendo's most iconic and beloved video game franchises, first launched in 1986 in Japan and 1987 in North America. Created by Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka, the series follows the adventures of Link, a courageous young hero who must save Princess Zelda and the kingdom of Hyrule from various threats, most commonly the evil Ganon/Ganondorf.

The original Legend of Zelda for the NES was groundbreaking for its time, offering an open world to explore and nonlinear gameplay. Players could tackle dungeons in nearly any order and discover secrets scattered throughout the land of Hyrule.

Zelda II: The Adventure of Link took a different approach with side-scrolling gameplay for action sequences while maintaining an overworld map for exploration. Despite the hardware limitations of the Game Boy, it delivered a full Zelda experience with a compelling story and engaging gameplay.

Game & Watch was a line of handheld electronic games produced by Nintendo from 1980 to 1991. Created by game designer Gunpei Yokoi, these devices featured simple games on LCD screens and also functioned as a watch with an alarm.

Each Game & Watch unit typically featured a single game that could be played on an LCD screen, along with a clock and alarm function. The devices were portable, lightweight, and battery-powered, making them popular for on-the-go entertainment before the advent of more sophisticated handheld gaming systems.
