Old Maid Setup: Remove one card from a standard deck (traditionally a queen) so the remaining cards form pairs with one unmatched card, then deal all cards evenly among players.

Old Maid Gameplay: Each player removes any matching pairs from their hand, then takes turns drawing an unseen card from the player to their left. If a new pair is formed, it's laid down; if not, it stays in hand.

Old Maid Winning: Play continues until all pairs are matched. Whoever is left holding the single unmatched card is the "Old Maid" and loses the round!

Banapples Jr Setup: Shuffle the deck and deal each player a seed pile of cards, keeping them face-down and unseen until it's time to plant them.

Banapples Jr Gameplay: Players race to match and sort numbered banana and apple cards from their seed pile, planting matching sets as quickly as possible.
