The Jetsons is a prime-time animated sitcom produced by Hanna-Barbera that originally aired on ABC from 1962 to 1963. The show was Hanna-Barbera's space-age counterpart to their popular series The Flintstones.

The series follows the family life of George Jetson, his wife Jane, their teenage daughter Judy, and young son Elroy. They live in Orbit City in the year 2062, where George works at Spacely Space Sprockets. The family is completed by their robot maid Rosie and their talking dog Astro.

The original series consisted of 24 episodes that aired during the 1962–1963 season. The show was later revived with new episodes in the 1980s, bringing the total to 75 episodes. The Jetsons Meet the Flintstones feature film was produced in 1987 and brought together Hanna-Barbera's two most famous animated families.
