Setup: Place the two miniature boards facing each other at an appropriate distance. Each player or team gets 2 bags of the same colour.

Objective: Score points by tossing bags onto the board or through the hole. The first player or team to reach 21 points wins.

Scoring: A bag that goes through the hole scores 3 points. A bag that lands on the board scores 1 point. Bags that miss the board or hang off the edge score no points.

Taking Turns: Players alternate tossing bags at the opposite board. After all bags are thrown, tally the points for that round.

Cancellation Scoring: In traditional cornhole, points cancel out - only the difference in scores counts for each round. For example, if one player scores 4 points and the other scores 2, the first player gets 2 points for that round.

Winning: The first player or team to reach exactly 21 points wins. Some variations require winning by 2 points or allow play to continue until one side reaches 21 or more.
